Does Aldelo EDC Require Broadband Internet Access?
Typically we strongly recommend Broadband Internet Access such as DSL, due to its low cost compared to super fast card processing speed (2-3 seconds). In most areas, the cost of a standard DSL line is very comparable to a second dedicated phone line for dialup terminal processing in the past.
However, in certain rural areas that DSL or other Broadband services are not available, then you may wish to consider using Dial Backup solutions supported by Aldelo EDC. Discuss your specific situation with each of the merchant service providers to discover how they may address your situation. Additionally, Merchant PC offers a software based dial backup solution in case of Internet connectivity failures.

Aldelo EDC currently has native support for Humbolt Merchant Services and First Data.
The Native Configuration Mode is one that does not require any other third party software license to accomplish payment processing transactions, thus saving you a significant amount of startup costs.
The Expanded Configuration Mode is utilizing Aldelo EDC Premium Edition's support for third party payment software to process against networks currently not supported via Aldelo EDC natively. The third party solution we support is DataCap's NetePay Store Servers. We have certified the NetePay For Vital, NetePay For Nova, NetePay for CardNet, NetePay for Paymentech, & NetePay for Lynk. Please note that the NetePay Store Server license costs are in addition to the Aldelo EDC Premium license.
